About the immersion camp

This years winter immersion camp featured snow games by Wayne Valliere, talks from various elders, drum stick making and as always language and cultural projects.

The 2018/19 Bois Forte Winter Immersion camp kicked off with Harvey Jordan, Char Lewis, Karen Drift, and Billy Blackwell. We heard stories, learned the Ojibwe Language and ended the night with a talent show. The next day Dr. Anton Treur taught language. There were also Ojibwe winter games with Wayne Valliere, dog sled rides, the moccasin game and drumstick making with Terry Goodsky.
