Anton Treuer led the way with our fall language camp here at Bois Forte. He touched base on word makeup, used songs and stories to teach the language, and spoke briefly about the Ojibwe culture.
The Bois Forte Immersion camp was a blast. Dr. Anton Treuer brought his extensive knowledge of the Ojibwe culture and language to Nett Lake. He taught basics of Ojibwe language and asked the participants exactly what they wanted out of the class and tailored it to their knowledge level. He used a white board, visual aids, and songs to teach the language. There was a wonderful dinner catored by Fortune Bay.
