Fire Restrictions
MN DNR and USFS have placed fire restrictions across their Forests due to the increased fire potential and occurrence we are experiencing this summer.
To report a fire:
Call 911
As of 6/16/2023 Bois Forte Forestry will no longer be issuing burn permits and all recreational fires will not be allowed.
Ceremonial and Spiritual fires will be allowed. Please reach out to Forestry to let us know when and where these fires will be happening. All efforts must be made to maintain and secure these fires when burning. (Keep a supply of water nearby and tools like a shovel)
