Mary Moose “Bwaanandabekwe” of the Polar Bear Family is a respected elder from Fort Albany First, Nation, Ontario Canada. Mary is a 1st language speaker of Cree & Ojibwe. She was raised in the bush with elders. Mary is often sought out for her knowledge of the language, plants, medicines, storytelling & traditional ways. Abraham Sutherland’s “Mishiiken” is from Constance Lake First Nation, Ontario, Canada.
