Program Dates and Location: The Leadership Summit will be held on Sunday, September 20, in Santa Fe, NM. Following the Summit, attendees will also attend the 2026 NAFOA Fall Finance & Tribal Economies Conference on September 21-22.

Wisconsin Tribe Expands Kalshi Lawsuit, Alleges Prediction Market Infringing on Gaming Sovereignty

The Ho-Chunk Nation of Wisconsin has amended its federal complaint against Kalshi and Robinhood in hopes of reviving allegations that the platforms are falsely advertising illegal sports betting on its sovereign lands.

Kalshi and Robinhood allow their prediction markets to be accessed in Indian country, including on lands controlled by the Ho-Chunk Nation. The tribe, which maintains a Class III gaming compact with Wisconsin, says Kalshi’s claims that its products are “50 State Legal” constitute false advertising.

The Supporting America’s Children and Families Act authorizes Tribal child support enforcement agencies (Tribal IV-D agencies) to access federal tax information (FTI) directly to obtain federal tax refund offsets for the collection of past-due child support.

Join the Internal Revenue Service on June 25, 2026, from 1:00–2:30 p.m. ET for a webinar on the onboarding process that child support enforcement (CSE) programs must complete to gain access to FTI. Presenters will discuss key safeguarding requirements and compliance obligations for CSE programs, as well as contractors working on behalf of state, local, and Tribal IV-D agencies.
