Indianz.Com Video: Vice presidential nominee Tim Walz rallies on Navajo Nation
On Tuesday, let’s go vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.
The respect is there: Navajo Nation leaders have met with Vice President Harris. They know her as an honest, hard-working person. She will be an outstanding President.
Tim Walz is well known in Indian Country. When he came to Window Rock, Arizona, last month, Walz thanked the Navajo People for the invitation, respected our land and honored our Veterans and honored our Code Talkers as the “Heroes of World War II.”
When he came back to Flagstaff again last week, Walz emphasized the importance of including Indian country in the new Administration: “The sovereignty of our Native nations is paramount. We must honor our promises.” Walz also made a stop in Las Vegas to meet with Tribal Leaders convened for the National Congress of American Indians.

At a Phoenix rally, Kamala Harris said: “America must honor our treaty and trust responsibilities to Native Americans.”
As Vice President, Harris has a record of working for all Americans, including our Native American People—the American Rescue Plan (ARP) provided a path forward for America out of the National COVID-19 Pandemic that hit our Navajo Nation so hard.
The Biden-Harris ARP economic relief plan funded household checks. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Act and Inflation Reduction Act funded water, sewer and road projects at Navajo. Projects that we waited for years to see. The CHIPS Act is creating jobs and new technology, including manufacturing jobs.
Last week, Trump called America a “garbage can” and drove around in a garbage truck. His colleague, Mike Johnson, Republican House Speaker said, if Trump wins, they’ll seek to repeal the CHIPS Act. They want to take away Obama’s Health Care Act too.
Ten days from Election Day, @Tim_Walz could be anywhere, but he’s here in Window Rock because he and @KamalaHarris care about Native communities.

President Harris, when elected, will work to reduce household prices, build new housing and new infrastructure, promote green energy and create jobs.
On Tuesday, let’s vote to move forward. Vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for a bright future for America.
