Tribal Justice input needed!

Boozhoo Everyone,

The Tribal Justice Team has been in a planning process for a 5-year Strategic plan among the Tribal Justice Departments and we are asking our fellow departments and community for feedback.

What is a ‘Tribal Justice Strategic Plan?”

I’ve got a lot of questions regarding what a tribal justice strategic plan is and how it affects our community and the Bois Forte departments.

This strategic plan will create goals and objectives based on the feedback from the 1:1 interviews, focus groups, and surveys. Not only will this plan improve tribal justice and safety of Bois Forte but include improving community wellness, increasing the capacity to prevent crime, addressing substance abuse,  accountability in our court system, adequate collaboration between departments, and providing sovereignty to our community in the Justice system.

This survey is 100% confidential, we cannot see who responds so please be very honest as this is the most crucial feedback during the planning process. *See the attachment for access & instructions to the survey, no later than July 28^th, 2023.
